As one of Suburban's newest sales team members, Keisha has quickly adapted to life in an outside sales role at SMG.
She shared some insight with us about her day-to-day life as the Western Regional Sales Manager for the Tsunami Compressed Air Solutions Division.

What brought you to Suburban?
I was yearning for something more than just selling in my career. I wanted to unleash my creativity, make a meaningful impact, and create a lasting difference.
When I stumbled upon the job description on LinkedIn, something clicked. I knew this was the perfect company and career path for me. From that moment on, everything fell into place, and the rest is history!
What education or experiences help you in this role?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communications and 18 years of outside sales experience.

What does your day to day job entail?
My day to day has many different aspects. One of the best is introducing great solutions from a trusted company like Suburban to new customers that may not know who we are and what we can do for them.
Training and getting information to the right people is key. Assisting our trusted distributors with more knowledge about our offerings and capabilities enables their customers to find the right solutions for their application.
Additionally, personal growth and learning never stops! Having discussions with our team and learning continuously from a group of extremely knowledgeable individuals are instrumental.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
When I started at SMG, the western territory was basically an unknown. The excitement and satisfaction of building a new territory has been unbelievable!

What do you enjoy about working at Suburban?
I enjoy Suburban’s comradery!
Throughout every department and in all three of our divisions, everyone comes together for the greater good.
How do you see yourself growing with Suburban?
As a newer employee, I first plan to enjoy and prove myself in my current role. However, Suburban encourages personal growth, development, and advancement, so I’m absolutely excited about my future here!
What golden piece of advice would you give to anyone thinking of entering your line of work?
Sales is continuously evolving, so adapt, adjust, and embrace innovation.
