At Suburban Manufacturing, our team is the heart of what we do, bringing skill, dedication, and innovation to every project. In honor of National Manufacturing Day, we’re highlighting the incredible individuals who power our operations and make our success possible. From machinists to quality technicians and even our CEO, each team member plays a vital role in driving our company and the industry forward.

Below, you’ll meet a few of our amazing employees and learn about their experiences in manufacturing, what they enjoy most, and the cool projects they’ve contributed to. Their stories showcase the passion and teamwork that make manufacturing more than just a job—it's a craft that shapes our future. Let's celebrate the people behind the machines!

Luke

What is your official title and how many years have you been working here?

"Machinist – 5 Years"

What do you enjoy most about working in manufacturing?

"The industry is constantly moving forward with new and improved machines, tooling, and automation."

What is a cool project you have been working on or finished?

"I have been participating in process improvements and brainstorming ways to improve the shops efficiency. From reducing cycle time to improved documentation and even streamlining work centers."

Annette

What is your official title and how many years have you been working here?

"Sewing Machine Operator – 6 Months"

What do you enjoy most about working in manufacturing?

"There is always something new, and I am always setting small challenges for myself to keep myself focused and keeping in mind “positive discontent” meaning even though our company is doing great, there is always something to learn to keep moving forward."

What is a cool project you have been working on or finished?

"In a previous job, I had a huge project, sewing names & company emblems onto 5,800 coveralls, and I successfully completed this project on time with only a little help. I received an award for going beyond my job duties in managing the project."

Chase

What is your official title and how many years have you been working here?

"CEO – 12 Years!"

What do you enjoy most about working in manufacturing?

"The people – salt of the earth personalities. Actually contributing to the GDP."

What is a cool project you have been working on or finished?

"Corporate Development & Market Mapping. Working through what would a good acquisition look like."

What is your official title and how many years have you been working here?

"Quality Tech – 95 Days"

What do you enjoy most about working in manufacturing?

"The people. They are all great when I ask questions and very friendly. Smiles :) and Good mornings. And I like the “Questions” on the board in the break room."

What is a cool project you have been working on or finished?

"I love cars so my boyfriend and I finished transferring a motor to the car from the other."

What is your official title and how many years have you been working here?

"Regional Sales Manager – 3.5 Months"

What do you enjoy most about working in manufacturing?

"Creating new solutions to old problems."

What is a cool project you have been working on or finished?

"500 Gallon DEF tank cover."

What is your official title and how many years have you been working here?

"Python Division Production Supervisor – 2 Years and 3 Months"

What do you enjoy most about working in manufacturing?

"I love working with my hands – spending time, effort and creativity making a physical item that is useful to someone!"

What is a cool project you have been working on or finished?

"I was on the team that created our current flow and layout and I’m currently working on “upgrading” that layout again due to some new machinery and parts that are on the way!"

Shannon

What is your official title and how many years have you been working here?

"Customer Success / Inside Technical Sales Manager for Tsunami       – 7 ½ Years"

What do you enjoy most about working in manufacturing?

"I enjoy working with our customers and my coworkers I love being able to help our customers get what they need and help them troubleshoot any issues they are having. I love the teamwork that goes on here."
